I’ve seen a few miatas in the wild with those/similar tail lights. I never understand the draw of why someone would like that style. I really like stock Miata tail lights. They instantly say Miata to me from a far, it’s kind of unique if you live and breathe Miata lol.

That might be the problem, all generations of miata rear ends look similar until the latest gen, I imagine people want their car to look unique(and every aethetic modification combo has already been done) So we’ve gotten to the point of changing light profiles.
